Daniels has surpassed Hall of Famer Allen Iverson (225) for the most steals in a single season in the 21st century, recording an incredible 226 steals.

While Daniels’ mark is historic in the modern era, the all-time record still belongs to San Antonio Spurs legend Alvin Robertson, who tallied 301 steals and averaged 3.67 steals per game during the 1985–86 season—records that remain untouched to this day.

In addition to his defensive dominance, Daniels has significantly improved his all-around game. This season, he’s averaging 14.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 3.0 steals per game—a massive leap from last year’s averages of 5.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists with the New Orleans Pelicans.

At just 22, Daniels has not only established himself as a premier perimeter defender, but he's also making a strong case as one of the league’s most impactful two-way players.
