Despite leading for most of the match, Partizan conceded a last-second basket to Walter Tavares, resulting in their seventh consecutive defeat to Real Madrid.
"I'm very happy with the way we played, but we lost the game in the last seconds. There were some very bad decisions in the attack, and in the end, Real was better," Obradovic stated.
He acknowledged that while the team performed well, critical mistakes, including a turnover by Carlik Jones, contributed to the loss.
"We beat ourselves, even though we played well. We had great chances to win and bring the game to an end. It was not only Carlik's lost ball that was crucial, but also the mistakes earlier," he added.
Obradovic recognized Real Madrid's quality and their status as the main title contenders.
"It was a great game. First of all, Real improved, they have great quality, and they are the favorites not only for the Final Four, but for the title," he noted.
"Put Tavares in any team, and that team will immediately be better because he has dominated for years."
Reflecting on Partizan's season, Obradovic mentioned the challenges faced due to injuries, particularly the absence of key players.
"If you are without two players who were great, such as Davies and Pokushevski, then this is the result; we were deprived of the first center," he explained, and stated that the season's outcomes would be analyzed at its conclusion.
