According to Shams Charania of ESPN, he will be reevaluated in two weeks, which means he is almost certain to miss the remainder of the regular season and the upcoming play-in tournament.

Monk sustained the injury late in the first quarter of Monday’s victory over the Detroit Pistons.

The Kings have already secured their spot in the postseason, they will face the Dallas Mavericks in the play-in, either as the ninth or tenth seed in the Western Conference.

Advancing without Monk will be a tough challenge. The dynamic guard is averaging a career-high 17.2 points and has become one of the key contributors to the Kings' success this season.
