According to Duane Rankin of The AZCentral, Beal is aiming to make his return from a left hamstring strain during the Suns' ongoing three-game road trip. The road trip begins Friday against the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics and wraps up Sunday against the New York Knicks.

Beal has missed the Suns' last eight games after suffering the injury on March 16 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

This season, Beal has appeared in 48 games for Phoenix, averaging 17.3 points, 3.6 assists, and 3.4 rebounds, his lowest stats since the 2015-16 season when he was with the Washington Wizards.

With the Suns fighting to stay in contention for a spot in the play-in tournament, Beal's return is crucial. The team currently sits 11th in the Western Conference with a 35-41 record, and the pressure is on to make a final push toward securing a postseason berth.
