Following another loss on Friday to the Minnesota Timberwolves, 109-124, Suns head coach Mike Budenholzer was asked about his job security heading into next season. However, he was reluctant to discuss the matter, emphasizing that the team is still fighting for a spot in the play-in tournament.

"Yeah, we're in the middle of trying to get into the play-in tournament. I don't think there's an answer to that question," Budenholzer said via Duane Rankin of AZCentral.

"Coaching is tough. Like I said before the game, we sign up for this. There are high expectations, but we're fighting to get into the play-in. We need to get ready for Sunday," he added.

The Suns are currently one win behind the Dallas Mavericks, who sit in tenth place in the Western Conference with a 36-38 record, holding the final spot for the play-in tournament.
