According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Gary Payton II has sustained a torn ligament in his left thumb and will be sidelined indefinitely.

This season, Payton has played in 58 games for the Warriors, averaging 6.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. Known for his defensive intensity and ability to energize the team, he has been a crucial contributor on both ends of the floor.
