Thursday marks the final game in the LA Lakers' challenging stretch of six games in eight days, where they've gone 3-2 so far.
They are already without two starters: LeBron James (groin) and Rui Hachimura (knee), both of whom are expected to return within a week or so. Moreover, the team officially announced that Austin Reaves (right ankle) is out for the Milwaukee game, as well.
Doncic had an impressive performance against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, scoring 31 points, grabbing nine rebounds, and dishing out seven assists in a 120-108 victory. Notably, 21 of his points came in the first quarter.
Since joining the Lakers in a trade, the Slovenian star has averaged 26.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 8.0 assists over 16 games. However, he has struggled with injuries, including an old calf issue, as well as ankle and back problems.

Currently, the Lakers hold the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference with a 43-25 record.
Their upcoming schedule includes a home game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night, followed by another home matchup against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday.
After that, they will embark on a four-game road trip, facing the Orlando Magic, Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls, and Memphis Grizzlies.
