Following the game, Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards, who delivered an impressive 41-point performance, had high praise for head coach Chris Finch, who reached his 200th career win in the NBA.
"As far as a coach, that's the best relationship I've ever had with a coach throughout my basketball career," Edwards said, via Timberwolves beat reporter Dane Moore.
"He lets his players play. He coaches everybody. That's the best thing about him. He's gonna coach everybody hard. And critique everybody. And when you got it going and you're playing well, he'll let you know. So he's doing it the right way," he added.
With this win, the Timberwolves climbed to the seventh seed in the Western Conference, improving to a 40-29 record. They will aim to extend their winning streak as they face the Indiana Pacers and the New Orleans Pelicans twice each in their next four games.
