Lonnie Walker IV of the Philadelphia 76ers has been diagnosed with a concussion after hitting his head on the court during a loss to the Toronto Raptors.

The Philadelphia 76ers are dealing with yet another injury setback as guard Lonnie Walker IV has been diagnosed with a concussion after taking a hard fall in their recent loss to the Toronto Raptors.

Walker hit his head on the court during the first quarter of the 118-105 defeat at Scotiabank Arena. Following the fall, Walker immediately went to the locker room and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

The team announced on Thursday that Walker has entered the NBA's concussion protocol and will be evaluated daily.

The injury means that Walker will miss at least one game, but further updates on his condition will be provided as necessary.

Walker has appeared in 10 games with the 76ers so far this season, starting one of them. He has averaged 8.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game, shooting 35.0% from the field.
