Marios Olympios, the Greek guard's agent, took to social media to deny the rumors, stressing that such speculation benefits no one.

Meanwhile, Aris also dismissed any transfer talk, clarifying that there is no EuroLeague out clause in Toliopoulos' contract this season.

"The rumors in the past few hours about Vassilis Toliopoulos joining Olympiacos are untrue. When discussing two major clubs and an international athlete, it would be wise to verify such information, as false reports do no good for anyone," Olympios stated.

Toliopoulos recently competed in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers, averaging 13.2 points and 3.2 assists over six games for Greece.

He also played in the Paris Olympics last summer, where he contributed 10.8 points per game.
