He will miss Turkiye's final FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers game against Iceland on Sunday due to a serious upper respiratory tract infection, according to the Turkish Basketball Federation.
Two other EuroLeague players, Cedi Osman (Panathinaikos) and Erkan Yilmaz (Anadolu Efes), will also sit out the game in Reykjavik after being diagnosed with bone edema in their right elbows.
Fortunately for Turkey, they have already secured their place in FIBA EuroBasket 2025, making this last matchup largely inconsequential.
Larkin played nearly 21 minutes in Thursday's game against Italy, finishing with 4 points in Turkiye's 67-80 home loss.
Anadolu Efes will return to EuroLeague action on Feb. 28 against ALBA Berlin.
