Position: C, PF
Age: 22
Height: 213 cm
Weight: 88 kg
Birth place: Minnesota, United States of America

The 22-year-old was taken off the Thunder injury report, clearing the way for him to make his return on Friday night against the Toronto Raptors.

It's very likely that Holmgren will play under the minutes' restriction at first, but it is a huge boost for the Thunder, nevertheless.

Holmgren suffered the injury on November 11, and the initial expectation was that he would miss at least 8 to 10 weeks from action.

Back on January 19, the latest Holmgren injury update revealed that he should miss at least 3 to 5 weeks more.

So, the 22-year-old recovered as planned and is set to return to action.

Holmgren, who was runner-up for Rookie of the Year last season, averaged 16.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks through 10 games. Originally, the Thunder said he would return this season and be evaluated in eight to 10 weeks.

In Holmgren's absence, the Thunder have remained at the top of the Western Conference standings with a 40-9 record.
