The match between Monaco Basket and Real Madrid saw an ejection for a player of Los Blancos.

Mario Hezonja was ejected in the 4th quarter, with about six minutes to go, with Monaco up by 5 points, 65-60.

Referee Anne Panther wanted to check if Hezonja was bleeding and asked him to show his hands. Initially, she couldn't find any blood, but Panther spotted a small cut and instructed him to go to the bench to get it treated before returning.

Frustrated by having to leave the court for such a minor cut, the Croatian lost his temper and was ejected just moments later.

Hezonja tried to argue with officials again before his teammates prevented him from getting close to the referees when he eventually went to the lockers.
