After the Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic told the media that he sees the New York Knicks as the Top-5 contenders to win an NBA championship, Karl-Anthony Towns responded by saying that he doesn't want to talk about the future and is focused on right now.

"I don't want to talk about the future. I want to talk about the present," KAT said. "I want to talk about what we can do right now to be the best team we can be because I have a lot of experience, and if you can take care of the present, then the future will take care of itself."

Jalen Brunson scored 30 points and dished out 15 assists, OG Anunoby added 23 points, and Towns recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

On the losing team, Jamal Murray scored 33 points, made 6 assists and had 5 rebounds. Russell Westbrook had 14 points and 14 rebounds.

With a 32-16 record, the Knicks are one game behind the reigning champions Boston Celtics for second place in the Eastern Conference.
