Davis dominated the paint early, overwhelming Charlotte with his scoring and rebounding. By the end of the first quarter, he had already racked up 21 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocks while shooting 9-of-12 from the field. That incredible stretch made him the first player since 1996 to record at least 21 points and 11 rebounds in a single quarter.

Additionally, Davis became only the second player ever to notch a 20-point, 10-rebound quarter, joining Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who accomplished the feat in 2023.

Davis finished the game with 42 points and 23 rebounds while shooting 17-28 from the field.

Davis is averaging 25.9 points, 11.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.2 blocks per game this season, and his dominant performances continue to fuel the Lakers' progress in the Western Conference.
