Jeremy Pargo, a former EuroLeague and NBA guard, has signed with Grindavik in Iceland, marking the 19th club of his professional career.
Few basketball fans in Europe can forget Jeremy Pargo, who played four seasons in the EuroLeague.
However, few would guess that the 38-year-old guard has signed with a new club in Iceland: Grindavik, a team that won three national championships in 1993, 2012, and 2013.
Last season, Pargo played for the NBA G League Ignite, averaging 5.0 points and 2.8 assists over 14 games.
He began his professional career in Israel after graduating from Gonzaga.
Pargo made his EuroLeague debut during the 2010-11 season with Maccabi, where he played for three seasons (2010-11, 2014-15, 2018-19). His EuroLeague journey also includes a stint with CSKA Moscow in the 2013-14 season.
Throughout his EuroLeague career, he has averaged 9.8 points and 3.5 assists.
With Grindavik being his 19th club, Pargo is truly a well-traveled player. He is also a three-year NBA veteran, having played for Memphis, Cleveland, Philadelphia, and Golden State, appearing in 86 games and averaging 4.8 points per game.
