Vince Carter's jersey was retired by the Brooklyn Nets at halftime of the game against the Heat.

Vince Carter was honored by the Brooklyn Nets, retiring his number 15 jersey at halftime of the game against the Miami Heat 97-106, on Saturday.

Toronto Raptors also retired Carter's jersey earlier this season. Vince Carter became 15th player in history, to have his jersey retired by multiple franchises.

Carter played 374 games for the Nets from 2004-05 to 2008-09 season. He averaged 23.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists playing for them. In those 5 season with the team, Carter made the playoffs three times, and was named to the All-Star game same amount of times.

In 2024 Vince Carter was inducted to the Basketball Hall of Fame. In his illustrious 22-year career, Carter was named a Rookie of the Year in 1999, won an Olympic gold medal in 2000, an was named an All-Star 8 times in his career.
