Joel Embiid's ongoing knee issues continue to sideline him, causing frustration within the Philadelphia 76ers organization.
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is missing one game after another, and this builds up to the reported frustration within the franchise, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
"From my understanding, even today from what I hear, Joel Embiid remains rehabbing, continuing to try to do everything he can to get back on the floor, but there have been frustrations from my understanding throughout the year of not having him there," Charania said.
Limited to just 13 appearances this season, Embiid recently experienced a setback with swelling in his knee.
The 30-year-old has been averaging 24.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in 29.5 minutes per game this season.

Embiid's injury history is a concern. Last season, he played 39 games, and his career-high for a regular season is 68 games in 2021-22. Over his nine-year career, he averages 49.6 games per season.
The 76ers are currently struggling. They are 11th in the Eastern Conference with a 15-27 record and three games behind the Play-In zone.
