Houston Rockets Head Coach Ime Udoka claims Alperen Sengun has no problems with pressure from American media, stating that he is under much more spotlight in Turkiye.
Houston Rockets took a commanding win over Portland Trail Blazers, with Turkish prodigy Alperen Sengun recording another double-double performance.
Rockets' Head Coach Ime Udoka was asked whether increasing media and fan interest bothers Sengun, and Udoka had a very clear and direct response:
"For the most part, I think he handles it well. According to what my coaches who worked with him during the summer told me he's like Michael Jordan in Turkiye. He faces a lot more spotlight when he goes home, so he's used to it now.
This season, Sengun helped Houston climb towards second place in the West and 28-13 score with averages of 19.4 points, 10.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists.
