Wembanyama finished the game with a double-double, recording 19 points, 12 rebounds, and an impressive six blocks in just 29 minutes of action.
With those six blocks, Wembanyama increased his career total to 397, a milestone that now places him among the top 10% of NBA players in history regarding shot-blocking.
According to ESPN, the young center has blocked more shots than 90% of players since the NBA began tracking the statistic, a testament to his defensive dominance in just his second season.
This season, Wembanyama averages 24.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.1 steals, and an incredible four blocks per game.
These stats represent a slight improvement in his shot-blocking from his rookie season, where he averaged 3.6 blocks per game. His shooting efficiency has also been impressive, with 47.5% from the field and 35.1% from beyond the arc.
