Not too long ago, spectacular tensions were created after FC Barcelona suddenly pulled out of a deal with their former player Thomas Heurtel.
In the end, Heurtel will still play in Liga ACB, but in a different team, as he is reportedly bound to sign for Leyma Coruna. Marca was the first to report on this topic.
The same source clarifies that the deal with Leyma will have an out clause for EuroLeague teams.
Heurtel started this season in China with Shenzen Leopards after a stint in Zenit St.Petersburg, marking a comeback to European soil.
Heurtel spent this season with Shenzhen Leopards in China, averaging 18.2 points and 8.5 assists in 10 games he has played.
Heurtel previously played for Barca from 2017 to 2021.
Barcelona will try to fill the gap after Nicolas Laprovittola's injury and the unsuccessful addition of Neto.
In his EuroLeague career, Huertel has been averaging 9.6 points and 5.3 assists.
