Paolo Banchero is expected to return to the Orlando Magic lineup Friday vs. Bucks after recovering from a torn oblique.
Magic star Paolo Banchero is expected to make his return in one of Orlando's upcoming back-to-back home games, either on Thursday against Minnesota or Friday against Milwaukee, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
Per Chris Haynes, Banchero will make his return Friday against the Bucks after being sidelined for over two months.
Banchero has been sidelined since October 30 due to a torn oblique but had a stellar start to the season before his injury.
The Magic plan to upgrade him to questionable on the injury report, with a likely return on Friday.
Currently, Orlando sits in fourth place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 22-16, although they are already dealing with injuries to the Wagner brothers.
Recently, Banchero provided a significant update on his recovery via social media, stating, "The wait is almost over," in a recent Instagram post.
Before his injury, Banchero was averaging an impressive 29.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game.
