Barcelona announced on their X account that their guard Alex Abrines will be sidelined from the court indefinitely.
Abrines is suffering from intestinal subocclusion, one of the types of bowel obstructions which prevent normal movement of the products of digestion.
Abrines was in Barcelona Hospital until last night when he retruned home to keep his recovery, no timetable was set for his return.
Abrines averaged 5.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 5.6 efficiency, and 17:58 minutes of participation per match, playing in 14 EuroLeague games of the 2024-25 campaign.
