In the previous days an official letter has been sent to Lithuania's president to confirm the eligibility of Russell playing for Lithuania, and last night Russell himself started talking about it.
On an Instagram post published by a Teknik Faul page from Turkiye regarding the situation, Russell shortly commented: "Let's make it happen."
D'Angelo Russell started his third season in the second stint with the Los Angeles Lakers, and is currently averaging 11.5 points, 4.9 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 27:30 minutes of participation.
