Scottie Barnes will miss at least three weeks after suffering a right orbital fracture during Monday's game against the Denver Nuggets.
Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes has been diagnosed with a right orbital fracture and will be re-evaluated in three weeks, the team announced.
Barnes sustained the injury during the fourth quarter of Monday's 127-125 overtime loss to the Denver Nuggets.
The 23-year-old took an accidental elbow to the face from Nikola Jokic and had to be assisted back to the locker room.
Before leaving the game, Barnes delivered a strong performance, putting up 21 points (9-19 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), along with 11 rebounds, nine assists, five steals, and one block over 35 minutes.
Through four games this season, Barnes has averaged 19.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 6.0 assists.
