Milos Teodosic admitted that Crvena Zvezda might have even overestimated Real Madrid. Filip Petrusev's arrival will help balance the loss of Joel Bolomboy due to his wide array of talents, Teodosic says.

Real Madrid started the game with a 10-2 run and never looked back, leading by as many as 28 points in the fourth quarter. Teodosic was the only player on Crvena Zvezda's roster to score in double digits with 11 points in his account.

The Serbian club shot just 34.8% from the field. While they grabbed twice as many rebounds and committed fewer turnovers, it didn't help.

"They are in a good rhythm, and we allowed them to play. They created a lot of open looks for shots and rebounds. In some moments, it seemed to me that we overestimated them. We respected them too much," Teodosic told Blazo Komnenic from Meridian Sport.

A difficult double week awaits Crvena Zvezda in the upcoming two EuroLeague rounds, as they travel to Lithuania to play against Zalgiris Kaunas and welcome Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens at home in the renowned Belgrade Arena.

Teodosic acknowledged the difficult stretch that's coming up, especially without Joel Bolomboy, who's sidelined with an injury.

"That's why we have to forget the defeat. We have three extremely difficult games waiting for us. Zalgiris plays great and hard at home. First of all, we have to focus on Zadar, [and] to win that game. I hope that we will go into the matches against Zalgiris and Panathinaikos with more focus and that we will be able to achieve victories," he said.

Bolomboy's absence will at least partially be remedied by the arrival of Filip Petrusev, who was loaned from Olympiacos Piraeus.

"It will improve the game for sure. He's a great player who does a lot of things on the court. It's far from an alibi, but we really missed Joel tonight. Petrushev will help us a lot," Teodosic concluded.
