Nando De Colo announced his retirement from the national team and international play after a remarkable 16-year career that culminated in a silver medal finish at the Paris Olympics.

French basketball legend Nando De Colo announced his retirement from the national team via social media.

His final appearance for Les Bleus came during the Paris Olympics this past summer, where the team made it to the final but ultimately fell short against Team USA.

Over his 16-year and 209-game international career, De Colo earned six medals. He won silver at the Olympics in both 2020 and 2024, a bronze at the FIBA World Cup in 2019, gold at EuroBasket 2013, silver at EuroBasket 2011, and bronze at EuroBasket 2015.

In total, he scored 2,194 points for France on the FIBA stage.

At 37, the two-time EuroLeague champion continues his professional career with LDCL ASVEL Villeurbanne, gearing up to start his 12th season in the league next week.
