Baron was one of the best remaining EuroLeague free agents approaching the start of the 2024-25 season.
Injuries limited Baron to just three EuroLeague appearances with Milan last season, but the experienced guard is now fully recovered from an elbow injury and is eager to return to top-level competition.
Baron ranked sixth in the EuroLeague for three-pointers made off screens, hitting 40% of his attempts in 2022-23. He was also among the top 15 in total three-pointers made, with a 40.3% shooting accuracy—one of only six players in that group to shoot over 40%.
At 33, Baron brings elite shooting, off-screen play, and ball handling—skills highly valued by EuroLeague powerhouses.
Over five seasons with Red Star, Zenit, and Milan, Baron averaged 10.5 points (40.2% from three), 2.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 22 minutes per game.
Just recently, another long-time EuroLeague guard, Thomas Heurtel, signed with the Shenzhen Leopards in China.
