Cedevita Olimpija confirms that Ziga Daneu underwent examinations last night after a horrific fall during FMP-Cedevita Olimpija game in Aba League opening round. Daneu avoided any serious consequences and is in hotel with the rest of the team.
Yesterday's Round 1 match in Aba League between FMP Zeleznik and Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana (75-62) was in the spotlight for a very wrong reason.

Cedevita Olimpija's Ziga Daneu had a horror fall on the court, landing directly with his head.
Daneu was conscious and taken out on a stretcher, game was interrupted for some time until Daneu was transported to hospital.
This morning Cedevita Olimpija announced that Daneu underwent all required examinations last night, sharing that he avoided any serious consequences.
Daneu is back in the hotel with rest of the team and will have additional examinations today.
Ziga Daneu is a 22-year old power forward from Slovenia, he re-joined Cedevita Olimpija this summer from Kansai Helios Domzale. He is a grandson of Ivo Daneu, one of the greatest players in history of Yugoslavian basketball.
