The Miami Heat announced plans to unveil a bronze statue of franchise legend Dwyane Wade on Sunday, Oct. 27, outside Kaseya Center.

Designed by Omri Amrany and Oscar Leon of Timeless Creations, the statue will be positioned at the top of the steps in front of the arena.

The unveiling ceremony, which is free and open to the public, will feature live performances from hip-hop artists Rick Ross and Nino Breeze.

However, tickets for the event are limited, and fans are required to register on the Heat’s website for on-sale alerts.

The following day, during a home game against the Detroit Pistons, Wade will be honored again with a special tribute at halftime.

The “Wade-themed game night” will feature video tributes celebrating Wade’s legendary career, including his three NBA championships and numerous individual accolades.

Wade, who is the Heat’s all-time leader in multiple categories, will address the Kaseya Center crowd during the halftime event.

Wade, who was drafted fifth overall by Miami in 2003, spent 13 seasons with the team before brief stints with the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers.

He returned to the Heat in 2018 for his final 1 1/2 seasons before retiring. Over his career, Wade was named an All-Star 13 times, earned eight All-NBA selections, and won the 2006 NBA Finals MVP.

In addition to his championships, Wade remains the Heat’s all-time leader in points scored in a Heat uniform (21,556) and games played (948).
