Bruno Caboclo had a private conversation with Hapoel Tel Aviv's owner and was offered around $1.5 million for the upcoming season. The player's camp reportedly asked for more time to make the final decision.
With just over a month left until the start of the new 2024-25 EuroLeague season, Bruno Caboclo's situation with Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade still hasn't been solved. At the same time, a new potential suitor has arrived at the scene.
According to Rif Gross from ONE, Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv's owner, Ofer Yanai, had a conversation with Caboclo about the possibility of him joining the Israeli club, which was described as positive.
The deal Hapoel offers the Brazilian center is in the vicinity of $1.5 million, relatively close to what Patrick Beverley and Johnathan Motley will make in the upcoming season. Caboclo's camp reportedly asked for more time to consider the current situation and make the final decision.
Caboclo still has a contract with Partizan, but the two sides are working on terminating it. The player's agent accused the club of not paying Caboclo his salary for several months, while Partizan vehemently denied it.
The 28-year-old Brazilian worked out for NBA teams following the conclusion of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, but it hasn't materialized into a concrete offer yet.
