Spain national team veteran Rudy Fernandez is questionable for the following Olympic Games matchup against Canada due to a contusion suffered in the match against Greece.
Spain's national team head coach, Sergio Scariolo, provided an update on Rudy Fernandez's injury after the veteran guard's hard fall against Greece ruled him out of the game.

According to Scariolo, Rudy is feeling better, but his status for Spain's third group stage game against Canada, scheduled for Friday, remains uncertain.
"Rudy is doing okay personally. He was hit really hard, but there's no risk of anything severe. However, we need to monitor him over the next few hours because he is questionable for the next game," Scariolo told BasketNews.
Fernandez hit two crucial three-pointers against Greece to start the fourth quarter before suffering a head injury from a collision with a teammate, Juancho Hernangomez.
He appeared dizzy on Spain's bench and was escorted off the court midway through the fourth quarter, not returning to the game.
Rudy Fernandez holds the record for the most Olympic appearances by a Spanish player and is set to retire from professional basketball after the Paris 2024 Olympics.
