Tyus Jones signed a one-year $3.3 million deal with the Phoenix Suns and is set to become the team's main point guard.
Tyus Jones will begin his 10th year in the NBA next season, and he will do it with a new team.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, Jones signed a one-year $3.3 million deal with the Phoenix Suns.
"The chance to play for the Phoenix Suns made the most sense on a lot of levels to me and my family - beginning with the way Mat Ishbia and the front office recruited me to how Coach showed me how I can significantly impact a team that has areal opportunity to challenge for an NBA title as their starting point guard," Jones told ESPN.
Jones averaged 12 points, 2.7 rebounds, 7.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game for the Washington Wizards last season. Before joining the Wizards in 2023, he represented the Memphis Grizzlies for four years.
The 28-year-old is set to become the main point guard of the team, with Bradley Beal and Devin Booker then set to play in their natural shooting guard position.
