Despite his close relationship with LeBron James, Anthony revealed he wasn't interested in joining forces with James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh in Miami.

Anthony shared that he and James had discussions before Miami's star trio was formed.

"Before the Miami Big Three, there were talks about me and Bron [LeBron James] because out of me, him, and D Wade, we were closest," Anthony said.

These talks, however, never led to a concrete plan for them to team up.

"We never was all locked in until we started going and getting old," he added, highlighting that the idea of playing together didn't materialize until later in their careers.

Reflecting on their past experiences, Anthony explained that the pain of losing together created a bond among them.

"I think it was because we lost together. We felt the same pain, we felt the same sentiment," Anthony said.

This shared struggle fostered a connection, but it wasn't enough to bring them together on the same team during their prime years. The former NBA star emphasized that joining James in Miami or Cleveland was never a realistic option.

"We just never knew where, you know what I mean? We could mess around with each other, but you ain't going to New York, ain't going to Cleveland," Anthony noted.

As friends and competitors, Anthony, James, and Wade explored the idea of playing together but ultimately chose different paths.

Anthony's revelations offer a glimpse into the complexities of NBA relationships and decision-making processes. While fans may have speculated about a potential super team, the reality was far more nuanced.

Anthony's candid reflections shed light on why one of the NBA's most tantalizing "what-ifs" never came to fruition. As the league continues to evolve, the stories behind these decisions remain a fascinating part of basketball history.
