Reggie Jackson plans to join the Philadelphia 76ers after agreeing to a contract buyout with the Charlotte Hornets.
Veteran guard Reggie Jackson, who recently agreed to a contract buyout with the Charlotte Hornets, plans to join the Philadelphia 76ers after clearing waivers, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Denver Nuggets had previously traded Jackson and three unprotected second-round picks to the Hornets in late June to open up cap space.
Jackson, a 6-foot-2 guard, was a key player off the bench for the 2023 NBA champion Nuggets. He averaged 10.2 points and 3.8 assists during the 2023-24 season.
The 13-year veteran played in all 82 games and started 23 times for the injured Jamal Murray.
