Canada has unveiled its final roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics, which features 10 current NBA players with extensive NBA experience.

Leading the squad is team captain Kelly Olynyk, currently playing for the Toronto Raptors and boasting 11 seasons and 756 games in the league. Olynyk has been a stalwart of Canada's national team since 2010, making his debut at the 2010 FIBA World Championship at just 19 years old.
Joining Olynyk is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a two-time NBA All-Star and recent All-NBA First Team selection with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Gilgeous-Alexander's prowess was evident at the last FIBA World Cup, where he averaged 24.5 points per game and earned a spot on the All-Star Five.
Jamal Murray, the Denver Nuggets guard and 2023 NBA Champion, is also returning to bolster Canada's roster. At 19 years old, Murray played on home soil at the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games, where he tallied 22 points in the fourth quarter and overtime as Team Canada defeated Team USA to advance to the gold medal final.
Canada's path to Paris was highlighted by a strong performance at the FIBA World Cup 2023, where they secured third place, defeating Team USA in the process. Eight players from Canada's bronze medal-winning team will represent Canada this summer in Paris.
The team, under the guidance of head coach Jordi Fernandez, will compete in Group A alongside Australia, Greece, and Spain in the Olympic Basketball Tournament.
The men's basketball event at the 2024 Paris Olympics is scheduled to run from July 27 to August 11.
