Tyrone Wallace joins Zalgiris Kaunas on a 1-year deal until the end of the 2024-25 season.
Zalgiris Kaunas officially announced the addition of Tyrone Wallace.
According to the club's statement, Wallace signed a 1-year deal until the end of the 2024-25 season.
BasketNews reported about the agreement between Zalgiris and Wallace on June 29.
"I'm really excited for the upcoming season. I can't wait to get down to Zalgirio Arena and feel all the energy the fans bring," Wallace said in a press release. "I am really looking forward to having a good year. I want to get to know all the coaches and teammates as soon as possible. See you soon!"
Wallace is coming off a two-year stint in the EuroCup, where he was the third-highest scorer last season.
The 1.96m guard, who can play both point guard and shooting guard positions, averaged 17.9 points on 44.5% shooting from two-point range and 39.1% from three-point range, along with 4.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.7 steals per game for Turk Telekom Ankara.
"We are happy that Tyrone is joining Zalgiris. He is an ambitious and motivated player who fits our vision for the upcoming season," noted Zalgiris GM Gediminas Navickas. "Wallace was one of the best players in the EuroCup last season, and he is eager to prove that he can compete at the highest level."
With Wallace, Zalgiris now has two of the top three scorers from last season's EuroCup, including Deividas Sirvydis.

Wallace ranks second in total points scored in the EuroCup since the 2022-23 season, trailing Xavier Munford by just four points and playing four fewer games.
Wallace tied his career-high with 31 points against Lithuanian team Lietkabelis Panevezys in January, shooting 8 of 10 from two-point range. He showcased his shooting range by going 7 of 8 from beyond the arc in another 31-point performance against Ulm.
