According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Hornets have waived the Serbian big man.

Pokusevski was part of the Oklahoma City Thunder roster until the midway part of the 2023-24 season. He was let go in a trade package that also involved Vasilije Micic and Gordon Hayward.

The Serbian forward was selected 17th overall in the first round of the 2020 NBA Draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder but could not be effective due to injury woes.

This year, he averaged 5.2 points (40.5% FG), 3.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game.
