According to an official announcement from the team, the club used a clause in Davies's contract to send him to free agency.
The American-Ugandan big man had joined Valencia before the start of the 2023-24 season.
Ordinarily, Davies had one more year in his contract but the Spanish club decided to part with him due to their ongoing roster revision and move to the EuroCup.
This year, the center averaged 12.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2 assists in the EuroLeague.
