NBA veteran Stanley Johnson signed a one-year contract with Anadolu Efes Istanbul.

Anadolu Efes Istanbul reinforced their roster with NBA veteran Stanley Johnson.

According to an announcement from the club, Johnson joined the team on a one-year contract.

This will be the first time that the forward moves overseas after having spent his entire career in the NBA and the G-League.

Aged 28, Johnson played for teams such as the Detroit Pistons, Toronto Raptors, and Los Angeles Lakers after being selected No. 8 in the 2015 NBA Draft. So far, he has spent 7 years in the NBA.

He last played for the Stockton Kings of the G-League in the 2023-24 season, averaging 14.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game.
