Grizzlies, Pelicans, and Bucks are among the teams interesting in signing Daniel Theis after his stint with the Clippers.
After a year with the Los Angeles Clippers, Daniel Theis is now a free agent. Multiple teams are interested in his services for the next season.
According to Kelly Iko from The Athletic, a handful of teams are looking into signing the German big man, including the Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, and Milwaukee Bucks.
Theis averaged 6.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game last season in just over 17 minutes per game for the Clippers last season. The organization has since decided to sign Mo Bamba to be the backup to Ivica Zubac.
Theis joined the Clippers in the middle of the season after the Indiana Pacers decided to buy his contract out, with the center having played just one game for the organization in the 2023-24 season.
Per Cleaning the Glass, Theis was in the 77th percentile in opponent effective field goal percentage when on the court and in the 85th percentile in opponent turnover rate while representing the Clippers last year.
