Jones and the Clippers agreed on a 3-year deal worth $30 million, according to ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk.
The news came after the Clippers announced in a statement that Paul George will be signing with another team.
The 27-year-old Jones was vital in the Mavericks' deep postseason run, starting all 29 playoff games.
He averaged 8.6 points on 48% shooting and 3.3 rebounds for Dallas this season.
