Oklahoma City Thunder have traded guard Josh Giddey to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for guard Alex Caruso.
Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to acquire guard Alex Caruso from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for guard Josh Giddey, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Giddey was selected by the Thunder with the 6th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft out of Australia. The dynamic guard has averaged 13.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 5.7 assists over his first three NBA seasons.
Caruso, meanwhile, has spent the past three seasons with the Bulls, averaging 7.8 points, 3.4 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game. He was named to the All-Defensive First Team for the 2022-23 season, the All-Defensive Second Team for 2023-24, and won the NBA Hustle Award for 2023-24.
The 30-year-old guard was undrafted out of college and initially signed a training camp deal with the Thunder in 2016. Although he was waived before the season started, Caruso signed with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2017, where he played for four seasons and won a championship in 2020.
