The Boston Celtics guard Derrick White is expected to continue with the team, according to Marc Stein.
"Derrick White is regarded as a near-certain recipient of a contract extension this offseason, which would mean all five of Boston's best players will possess contracts awarded over the past year (and change)," Stein wrote in his latest piece.
White still has 1 year left on his deal, in which he'll earn $20,071,429.
White made the NBA All-Defensive Second Team for the second straight year, averaging 15.2 points, 5.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game.
