Indiana Pacers are nearing a long-term contract extension with forward Pascal Siakam, according to Scott Agness of Fieldhouse Files. Both sides are keen to continue their partnership.
Siakam is currently in the final year of a four-year, $136.9 million rookie-scale maximum contract he signed with the Toronto Raptors in 2019.
He will become an unrestricted free agent next offseason.
This past season, the 30-year-old averaged 21.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists over 80 games, playing for both Toronto and Indiana.
The Raptors traded Siakam to the Pacers in January for three players and three future picks.
