Atlanta Hawks GM Landry Fields remains "excited" at having the No. 1 pick in this year's NBA Draft.
The Atlanta Hawks have no plans of trading their No. 1 pick as of now.
Hawks GM Landry Fields said they like their options for the potential top picks in the upcoming NBA Draft.
"I think we're really excited by the draft. And the more that we uncover, like we go, great, I'm glad we have No. 1. I keep joking around like I'm not giving it back," Fields said.
"So, I think we're in a really good position here. I'm excited about it, frankly."
Atlanta has looked at guys like French players Alexandre Sarr and Zaccharie Risacher, Kentucky guard Reed Sheppard, and UConn center Donovan Clingan.

Field said they are still undergoing a thorough process to determine who to select with their pick.
"I would say a week ago it was wider than it is now," he said. "The board is definitely shaping up, tiering itself out."
The Hawks, who finished with a 36-46 record this season, won the No. 1 draft pick despite just 3% odds.
