The Indiana Pacers star gave an update on his recovery and said he is progressing well with his injury.
“The hamstring is good. Today I ran for the first time full speed. I got another three weeks before USA. I feel good. I'm really excited to get out there and do that,” said Haliburton.
Haliburton, who was part of the USA team that participated in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, knows that the Paris Olympics will be a completely different experience, especially with a loaded squad.
“I would love to play in as many Olympics as I can until the wheels fall off. But obviously, I don't want to take this for granted, to be able to do this,” Haliburton said.

“You look at our roster, it's unbelievable. A ton of Hall-of-Fame guys, great guys who have really cemented themselves, been a major part of our game over the last 10-20 years. To be a part of that is amazing. I was just really hoping that I'd make the team just to be a part of it, just to be with those guys. I think these are stories that are gonna be told forever like the great USA teams of the past. I'm just really excited to be a part of it.”
