Zvezda now lead the Serbian league final series 1-0, but their joy was somewhat curtailed by the news regarding Yago dos Santos and Nemanja Nedovic.

Both had to leave Game 1 due to injuries, and it turned out that the Brazilian's season is over. Even though dos Santos didn't suffer a rupture of the calf muscle, as was feared at first, but a strain, the point guard will not be able to help his team on Wednesday in Game 2, nor will he able to make a potential Game 3.

The situation with Nedovic is somewhat more favorable. During Game 1, the veteran guard exited the court only to return later on, and then headed to the bench again. As things currently stand, he will probably miss the game at the Stark Arena, but he's expected to make Game 3 in Pionir (if it takes place).

Center Joel Bolomboy, who suffered a muscle rupture during Zvezda's semi-final clash with Mega Basket, will also miss the remainder of the season.
