American forward Aamir Simms has just finished his first season in Italy with Reyer Venezia after Virtus Segafredo Bologna eliminated his team in the Italian League semifinal series.

Now that his season in Italy is over, Simms is already drawing interest from several teams. According to BasketNews sources, Valencia Basket is one of the teams showing the biggest interest in the American forward.
With his combination of athleticism and shooting, Simms could become a really good fit for Valencia's new head coach Pedro Martinez.
In his first season in Italy, Simms averaged 10.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game, shooting 40% from three-point. He was instrumental in Venezia's run to the semifinals of the Italian league.
After a solid season in Venezia, Simms has established his status as one of the most interesting forwards in the European market.
Despite not having a guaranteed spot in the EuroLeague next season, Valencia has been extremely active on the market in recent weeks, securing deals with Ethan Happ, Luka Bozic, and Jean Montero.
Another Venezia player who's receiving plenty of interest in the European market is Rayjon Tucker.
Several EuroLeague teams have already inquired about his status, but the player is not expected to make any commitment before the start of the NBA Summer League, sources told BasketNews.
