Guduric revealed he would be sidelined for 7-10 days.
Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul's guard Marko Guduric suffered an injury during the Turkish Basketball League (BSL) playoffs. However, he won't be sidelined for long.
Guduric picked up a groin injury during Game 1 of the semifinal series against Besiktas Emlakjet Istanbul. While Fenerbahce named his absence to be for an indefinite period, the player himself clarified his return date.
"It's nothing terrible, a break of seven to ten days," Guduric told Biljana Kostreš from Meridian Sport.
The 7-10-day timeline puts Guduric in line to return during the final series if Fenerbahce close out the semifinal series.
Guduric is one of the key players for Fenerbahce, averaging 9.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists for 9.6 PIR in the EuroLeague in just over 21 minutes of playing time. His numbers are similar in the BSL - 8.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 10.7 PIR in 21 minutes.
Fenerbahce are up 2:0 in the series against Besiktas. Game 3 is scheduled for 19:30 CET on Monday, June 3rd.
